Is this for you?

Built for brands ready to move properly.

Applied directly to your Rapid Pack account during your first 90 days of live operation.

  • Shipping 1,000+ orders/month
  • Already using a 3PL, warehouse, or internal fulfilment setup
  • Losing time through poor service, weak visibility, or slow dispatch
  • Ready to move properly, not just quickly

Not at this volume yet? We may still be able to help, but the switching credit is designed for established ecommerce operations.

Commercial support

Up to £5,000 Switching Credit

The cost of moving should not be the reason you stay with the wrong 3PL. We have structured our credit programme so the move is commercially viable from day one, with credit applied directly to your Rapid Pack account once you go live. It is not paid out as cash, is subject to eligibility, and is designed to offset the switching and onboarding pain.

No long-term lock-in during onboarding

Your first 90 days are rolling, so the operation has to earn the longer-term commitment.

Credit applied directly to your account

No cash payout, no reimbursements, no claims forms, no waiting for money to come back.

Backed after onboarding by our Shipped On Time Guarantee. Where an eligible DTC parcel order is fully allocated by the agreed cut-off and misses the agreed dispatch SLA solely due to Rapid Pack fault, we credit the fulfilment handling charge and outbound shipping charge charged by Rapid Pack for that affected order.

  • Applies to eligible DTC parcel orders only.
  • Excludes B2B, wholesale, pallet, freight, two-man, oversized, rework, returns, project-based activity and bespoke operational work unless expressly agreed.
  • Excludes delays caused or contributed to by stock availability, incomplete order data, address queries, fraud or payment holds, client instructions, customs issues, non-compliant stock, unforecast volume spikes, external platform or system issues, carrier issues, force majeure or any agreed SLA exclusion.

Credit is applied against fulfilment invoices in the first 90 days of live operation. Volume thresholds are based on confirmed monthly order forecasts agreed during scoping. Complex multi-channel transitions are assessed individually.

Timeline at a glance

A controlled move, not a risky changeover.

We do not figure it out as we go. Every transition follows a defined process, with clear ownership, staged onboarding and full visibility throughout.

You know what is happening, when it is happening and who is responsible from first stock transfer to first live orders.

The reality

Switching fulfilment is where most brands hesitate.

And for good reason. Get it wrong and it shows immediately in missed dispatches, confused customers and stock that does not reconcile.

  • Orders still need to ship every day, without exception
  • Stock needs to move cleanly, without loss or confusion
  • Systems need to stay connected across platforms
  • Customers cannot feel any disruption to their experience

That is why most brands delay it longer than they should, even when they know they are with the wrong 3PL.

What's different

Not all 3PL transitions are run the same way.

Most 3PLs treat onboarding as a paperwork process. We treat it as an operational project, with dedicated ownership, daily touchpoints and validation gates before anything goes live.

Full scope

We Handle Every Operational Touchpoint.

Switching fulfilment is not one thing. It is a hundred small things, and most of them are invisible until they go wrong. Here is what is covered end to end.

Phase 1

Pre-move planning

  • Current 3PL liaison and handover coordination
  • Stock audit and SKU reconciliation
  • Transport arranged to collect inventory from your current site
  • Migration timeline agreed and signed off
Phase 2

Systems and integrations

  • Sales channels integrated across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, eBay and WooCommerce
  • WMS configuration across Canary7 or ShipHero where applicable
  • SKU mapping, barcoding and data structure
  • Shipping methods, carrier accounts, rate cards, cut-off times and dispatch SLAs configured
Phase 3

Operational setup

  • Lot, batch and expiry tracking for regulated products
  • Brand guidelines applied to packing and unboxing
  • VIP and influencer order workflow defined
  • Returns portal configured with return shipping and reason codes
  • Escalation paths agreed for stockouts, damaged inbound and incidents
Phase 4

Go-live and stabilisation

  • Test orders run and validated before live cutover
  • Daily comms during cutover window
  • First orders monitored in real time
  • Weekly performance reviews through stabilisation
  • 30-day operational review with named transition lead
The process

No Guesswork. No Sudden Cutovers.

Week 101

Assessment

We review your current setup, volumes, SKUs, integrations and risk areas before anything is agreed.

Week 1-202

Transition Plan

Clear timeline for stock movement, system setup and go-live, agreed and signed off before we start.

Week 2-303

Setup & Integration

Systems configured, SKUs mapped, workflows defined and integrations tested before live orders move.

Week 3-404

Controlled Go-Live

Orders start flowing with active monitoring and support in place. Issues are caught and resolved in real time.

Day 3005

Stabilisation

Performance tracked, SLAs confirmed and the operation tightened. You get a post-live review at 30 days.

Most brands are fully operational within 4 weeks of signing. Complex multi-channel or regulated-product setups may take up to 6.

Switching case study

From fulfilment failure to live operations in 48 hours.

Ethical Nutrition is a health and supplement brand where batch control, expiry visibility and reliable dispatch are critical.

Ethical Nutrition came to Rapid Pack after their previous 3PL failed. Orders still needed to move, stock had to be protected and the brand needed a route back to operational control quickly.

The switch was run as an emergency onboarding project: inventory received, products mapped, workflows configured and live dispatch restored within 48 hours.

Since onboarding, Rapid Pack has supported around 4.5x growth, a broader product range and UK, USA and express delivery expansion.

It proves the switching programme works because the pressure points were real: failed incumbent provider, urgent stock control, live customer orders and no room for a loose handover.

“Rapid Pack brought control back to a difficult fulfilment situation and gave the brand a stable platform to grow from.”Ethical Nutrition operations team

Common concerns

Questions we hear every time.

What if my stock gets lost in the move?

Stock transfer is fully coordinated with logged handovers and reconciliation at every stage. Nothing moves without confirmation on both sides, and our team liaises directly with your current 3PL to arrange collection and transport.

What about my integrations and systems?

All systems are configured, mapped and tested before a single live order moves. You do not go live until everything is confirmed working, including sales channel integrations, carrier accounts, returns portal and batch tracking where applicable.

How long is this actually going to take?

Most brands are fully operational within 4 weeks of signing. Complex multi-channel or regulated-product transitions may take up to 6. You get a timeline at the start and we stick to it.

What happens if we are already locked into a contract with our current 3PL?

We can structure the transition to align with your existing notice period. Many brands begin scoping and systems setup during their notice window so they go live the day their old contract ends.

Do you handle the comms with our current 3PL?

Yes. Liaising with your outgoing 3PL is part of the scope, including arranging stock collection, confirming handover dates and reconciling final inventory. You do not manage that conversation.

When is the best time of year to switch 3PL providers?

For most UK ecommerce brands, January through August is the ideal window. From September onwards, capacity locks across the industry as 3PLs protect for peak. If you are thinking about moving, the earlier in the year you start scoping, the more flexibility you have.

Who this is for

If the Operation Matters, the Switch Needs to Be Done Properly.

  • Shipping 1,000+ orders per month
  • Outgrowing your current fulfilment setup
  • Needing more visibility and operational control
  • Preparing for growth, peak or multi-channel complexity
  • Ready to move properly, not just quickly

If you are still testing demand or shipping low volumes, this probably is not the right programme yet.

This is for brands where fulfilment is now critical infrastructure, not a background admin task.

If your current fulfilment setup is creating risk, slowing down growth or taking too much management attention, the move needs to be handled properly.

  • We plan the move before anything changes
  • We protect live orders during the transition
  • We validate stock, systems, SKUs and carrier setup
  • We monitor the first orders closely
  • We stay involved after go-live
Onboarding capacity

Capacity Locks From September. Plan Your Move Early.

We run a controlled number of switching projects at any one time so every brand gets a named transition lead and proper operational attention. From September onwards, capacity tightens across the UK 3PL industry as warehouses protect resource for Q4.

If you are considering a move, the most flexible window runs from January through August. Brands that scope early get first pick on onboarding slots and the longest stabilisation runway before peak.

If You Are Considering a Move, We Will Show You How to Do It Properly.

We'll review your current setup, walk you through the realistic risks and build a practical switching plan around your volume, timelines and operational needs. Initial scoping call is free: no pressure, no generic pitch.

This is not just onboarding support. It is a controlled operational transition backed by a published dispatch standard.
